Every party starts with a rough sketch, I scribble in my notepad.

Before the awning existed, it was a line drawing. Before the cakes existed, there was a scribbly table with balloons.
Before Mickey said hello at the door, he was a quick rough sketch on my iPad.

This invite.🥰

Ever since her 1st birthday, I've illustrated my baby's birthday invitations.
This time was no exception. Every year, a new theme. 😊

The best part of doing this one? Completing the artwork and showing her.

She's inherited every one of my expressions — so I knew exactly what she thought the moment she saw it.

She kept showing it off to her dad. And in the days leading up to her birthday, she kept asking to see it again and again.

Being a mom who loves to design means I go all out on my baby's birthday.
For her 3rd birthday , she wanted Mickey to attend.
So this mumma made sure he came home ☺️

It wasn't enough that he came home..but it had to be pretty and intentional.

Creating a VISUAL IDENTITY helped me achieve that.

First, a color palette, then the fonts, the patterns, and finally, the elements, all applied across the full decor

All designed on procreate , printed locally in malta 🇲🇹
