Look closely — not everything in these pictures is what it seems 👀

There’s still a belief that “real” florists only work with fresh flowers. We don’t agree.

Faux florals can offer something fresh flowers simply can’t: they stay exactly where you put them, for exactly as long as you need them. And when the quality is right, they look incredibly realistic.

For large-scale installations, hot climates and long events, this can be a real advantage — especially when you need the design to look just as good at the end as it did at the beginning.

For us, it’s not about choosing sides. It’s about choosing what works best for the project. Fresh or faux — both have their place.

We’re taking you behind the scenes at our partner — straight into the world of the flower trade.

You’ll see what happens to flowers before they reach the florist: processing, packaging, logistics and even auctions. Basically, the whole journey from flower to florist, from the inside.

Grabbing onto summer days 🍋🍊

This time last year, we went back to our Modern Floral Design online course and asked ourselves: how can we make it better, deeper and more useful — so you can take it once and feel ready for your next step in floristry?

And this is how MFD PRO was born.

We’ve completely updated the programme with more practice, detailed video lessons and step-by-step tutorials that show every technique and decision along the way.

We’ve also added a complete Wedding & Events course, taking the programme beyond everyday commercial floristry.

Our goal was simple: to create one course that gives you the skills, practice and knowledge you need to move forward.

The final day of our Bucharest masterclass — and what a way to finish it!

After two days of learning the fundamentals, exploring floral techniques, creating bouquets, and putting everything into practice, our students took on something much bigger: a large-scale floral installation in a real space.

From the first structural elements to the very last flower, the installation came together step by step. Form, colour, texture, scale — and a lot of teamwork.

What started as an empty space turned into a full-scale floral project created by our participants themselves. And watching it all come together was definitely the highlight of the masterclass 💙 Thank you to our amazing students for these three days

It’s a workout 💪😂 If you know, you know…

The main focus of Day 2 was one of the most challenging (and most beautiful) techniques: creating an airy, gorgeous spreading bouquet in Lacy Bird style

After a step-by-step demonstration from our tutors, it was time to practice. Students worked through the technique, perfected the shape, and mastered the wrapping — turning theory into real, hands-on experience.

Stunning bouquets to take home, and knowledge that stays with them for years to come!

Hot summer days in Bucharest 💛 We are so happy to be back in Romania with our 3-day masterclass!

Day 1 behind the scenes:

• Welcomed our amazing students who joined us from Romania, Italy, Croatia, Czech Republic, Turkey, Germany, France, Moldova

• Covered the foundation of commercial floristry: color combinations, flower selection, hierarchy, and composition principles

• Watched our tutors bring theory to life — step-by-step demonstrations with no secrets

• Enjoyed lunch together before the first hands-on practice

• Students selected their flowers and created their first arrangements in boxes — beautiful results already ready for their portfolios and homes

• Ended the day with a business lecture, sharing 14 years of experience running a premium floral studio
