It only took us a week to post this… 😂🤎

Last Thursday was definitely a special one for us. To see Curvacraft and our work recognised amongst so many incredible designers and studios at the CID Awards MENA was honestly such a lovely feeling.

Even more than the recognition, evenings like these remind you how much there is still to learn, how much more there is to create, and how much further we want to go.

Grateful to our clients who trusted us with their spaces and allowed us to put forward work we truly believe in, and of course, to our little team behind it all. 🤎

We came back inspired, motivated and with a little more fire for what’s next.

Hopefully, this is just the beginning of many more moments like this. ✨

Until then — more designing, more learning and a lot more creating. 🤎

The details you’ll probably never think about once the space is finished.

When everything finally comes together, a detail like this simply looks clean and effortless but there’s a lot that happens on site to make it look that way.

From recessing the wall for a flush skirting to individually working the travertine around every curve, it’s these little things that quietly make the finished space what it is.

Just waiting for the vision to become reality. 🫠

Part 2, because there was definitely more to show. 🤍

A little more of what went into transforming this 2-bedroom apartment in Palm Jumeirah — from planning the space to the details you eventually see on site.

Not the final reveal just yet… ✨

Three entries. Three shortlists. ✨

Curvacraft is incredibly proud to be shortlisted at the Commercial Interior Design Awards MENA 2026, across all three categories:

✨Best Residential Refurbishment Interior Design Concept
✨Best Small-Scale Office Interior Design
✨Technical Designer of the Year Uroosa khan

Since this is going to be our first time at the CID Awards, and having all three of our entries make the shortlist it makes this feel all the more special.

It’s also been two years since we started Curvacraft, which makes this moment even more meaningful. So much hard work and teamwork has gone behind every project, every drawing and every little detail, and it makes us incredibly proud to see how far the team has come.

Today, we’re taking a moment to celebrate this one. 🤍

A special first, and here’s to many more. 🤍

Okay, first talking video and I’m slightly nervous posting this 😂 but we’re just going for it.

The projects still at handover stage, so you’re not seeing the pretty furniture and final styling just yet — but I thought this was actually the perfect time to show you what goes into the space before all of that.

A little walkthrough of what we demolished, what we changed and how we completely reworked the layout.
Starting with one of the biggest changes we made to this apartment — the kitchen, and how reworking it completely changed the entrance and the way the living space feels.

Because especially in smaller spaces, good space planning can change everything.

A blank canvas. A sketch. Endless possibilities.

It’s been about four months since we started designing this 6,000 sq. ft. G+1 villa in Jumeirah Islands.
It’s been overwhelming, but we’ve loved every bit of the process especially designing this washroom + walk-in wardrobe.

The overall home follows a warm contemporary design with subtle Japandi influences and we wanted to make sure we follow the same for all the spaces.
The original layout felt quite traditional, so we decided to completely open up the space by connecting the washroom and the walk-in wardrobe. The idea was simple to make the space feel more open and bring in natural light.
Definitely one of our favourite spaces in the villa, and we can’t wait to see it come to life.

It all starts with a plan.

Then come the layout options, the colours, the finishes, the fittings, and every little decision in between.

The final space is simply the result of every thoughtful choice made along the way and that’s exactly what we thrive on.🫰🏻

You see a house under construction.

We see mornings in the kitchen, conversations around the dining table, quiet corners to unwind, and every design decision that brings those moments to life.

Every site visit is filled with decisions—refining details, selecting finishes, adjusting dimensions, solving problems before they become problems, and making sure every choice aligns with the vision.

The final home isn’t created on installation day.

It’s created through every small decision made long before you move in.

That’s the part you don’t always see.

And that’s exactly what turns a house into a home.

Everyone sees the finish. I love the part where the vision, the process slowly becomes reality. 🤍
