Hot coffee for brunch. Cold brew when you need it. Fizzy water on your terms. The Dopper travel mug doesn’t ask what you’re drinking. It just works.

We stock it because it’s built the way things should be built: leak-proof, reliable, made to last. Five colours. Five moods. One object that actually belongs in your hand.

At urban nest.

Van Gogh’s paintings just became 70’s ceramics coffee mugs. And we’re obsessed.🥰

The mood behind each masterpiece, the brushstrokes, the color clashes, the restlessness, were translated into glaze, texture and form. The Sunflowers series, the Starry Night variations, his self-portrait. Each one is now a collectible you can actually use everyday!

New in the showroom and online now.✨

Here’s why we chose this collection: it’s art, it’s intentional, and it’s deeply human. The mugs are purposefully designed without ears, a knowing nod to Van Gogh’s story, wrapped in Dutch humor. It’s the kind of detail that makes you smile every time you reach for your morning coffee. That’s what urban nest is about. More than just objects. Stories.

We sold out every single one of our Nomad couches this year. And people who wanted it had to wait. They got in touch asking when it would return.

Now it’s coming back in royal velvet, caramel.🤎 Same substantial frame, same sink-into-it comfort. The fabric is new, denser, warmer, richer than before. You feel it against your skin the moment you sit.

It anchors a room quietly. It holds conversation. It holds solitude. And because the cover lifts off, it grows with your taste, your seasons, your life. Wash it. Swap it. Keep it as your anchor.

Can you imagine it in your home? In your corners, against your walls, holding your afternoons?

Available to preorder now. Arriving next week.✨

The mug you carry from the office to your afternoon. From your desk to somewhere else.☕️

At urban nest, we choose objects that work the way they should work, not because they look right, but because they are right. The Dopper travel mug is one of those. Made from recycled steel, and built to last. The wrist cord keeps your hands free and your bottle close.

It moves through your day without demanding attention. Your morning espresso stays hot. Your afternoon cold brew stays cold. No leaks, no fuss. It doesn’t fail you. That’s design. Available at urban nest.

This is the bench everyone asks about when it’s not here. Our crowd favorite Lobby Bench. Sculptural, rounded edges, comes in stripes.

This is what happens when you put it in a hallway. Suddenly there’s a reason to pause. A place to sit. The stripes add something the space didn’t have before. Not frantic. Just intentional.

Works not just in homes but also perfect in hotel lobbies, retail entries, studios.

Preorder on urbannest.ae. Arrives next week.

A corner built for sitting with your coffee and not checking your phone for an hour.☕️

Chestnut wood, natural linen, then this one color that makes you look twice. The framed piece on the wall anchors it. The wooden stool ages with use. The ceramics warm in your hands.

This is how we think about spaces: not as rooms to fill, but as rooms to inhabit.

Captured by Nola • Tiny Boutique Escape Veluwe featuring HKliving framed artwork Saloon, Chef ceramics in burnt orange, Wooden stool in chestnut, Retro ceramic clock, and a lot more of our unique pieces on the shelves. Enough for us to be inspired at the start of a week.🤗

Once you hang this, your whole room becomes the exhibition. Not because it’s perfect or finished. But because it’s curated, layered, considered. The poster just says what’s already true: you’re not decorating a space, you’re building a gallery of your own decisions.

Every object you keep, every corner you tend to, every color you live with. That’s the exhibition. Temporary only because you get to change your mind whenever you want.😉

Tomorrow we celebrate 9 years of urban nest! It’s been a journey full of lessons.💪🏻🫶🏻

Today, we’re sharing an honest conversation between our founder Janaika and Tim Elliott on Mira Business FM’s Scale or Fail. She talks about what it really takes to build and grow an independent retail and distribution business in Dubai.

From freight costs and supply chain disruptions to protecting margins, building a community and staying relevant in an increasingly competitive market. It was an honest conversation about the realities behind the business.

And perhaps one of the most important lessons after nine years:
Stay close to your customer, and stay focused on why they come to you.

It doesn’t just sit against a wall looking reflective. It reflects light back into itself, creating depth where there’s only hard walls and suddenly the space opens. Three of them together multiply that work, turning a corridor into something that breathes.

We’re restocking the Chubby standing standing mirror mid-September, and watching it do this in spaces like this one reminds us why it’s one of our crowd favorites.

Coming back to us soon 🤍
