You know that moment when two colors really shouldn’t work together, but somehow they do? That’s often where the magic begins.

For Danish designer Stine Hoelgaard Johansen STINE HOELGAARD JOHANSEN , color is an invitation to experiment: unexpected combinations, playful patterns, and the kind of knitting that sends you straight to your stash. The result is soft, textured, slightly unruly, and exactly the sort of piece that makes me want to keep exploring what handspun can do. The full story is inside KOEL Magazine.

For our story Private Space, Manon Zwerver knitted this wonderfully tactile pouch, complete with little bobbles and plenty of room for your favorite things.

What would you keep in yours?
