Garni Crafts Centre Գառնիի Ձեռարվեստի Կենտրոն Garni Crafts Centre is the home of the Handicrafts Development Foundation. We use natural dyed wool and base our products on traditional designs.

Our craftswomen are from Garni and other Armenian villages.

🍽️ Արհեստների միջազգային 4-րդ փառատոն | 4th International Crafts Festival-ը կանցկացվի «Երիտասարդները ստեղծում են համը. խոհարարություն և արհեստներ» խորագրի ներքո։ Այն հուշում է, որ այս տարի փառատոնի ուշադրության կենտրոնում կլինեն ազգային ուտեստները՝ որպես ոչ նյութական մշակութային ժառանգության ոլորտ, և երիտասարդների դերը՝ այդ ժառանգությունը պահպանելու և հանրահռչակելու գործում։
Բաց մի՛ թողեք ժողովրդական արվեստի և համերի երկօրյա մշակութային տոնը՝ խոհարարական ավանդույթներով հարուստ Գավառում։

🔹 Փառատոնն անցկացվում է ՀՀ կրթության, գիտության, մշակույթի և սպորտի նախարարության և Հովհաննես Շարամբեյանի անվան ժողովրդական արվեստների թանգարանի կողմից՝ Գավառի համայնքապետարանի հետ համագործակցությամբ։

🍽️ The 4th International Crafts Festival will be held under the theme "Youth Crafting Taste: Gastronomy and Crafts." This year, the spotlight is on traditional cuisine as a vital part of intangible cultural heritage, and on the role of young people in preserving and promoting it.
Don’t miss this vibrant two-day celebration of folk art and flavors in Gavar, where culinary traditions come alive!
📍 Join us on June 21 & 22 in Gavar’s Central Square (Gegharkunik Province).

🔹 The festival is organized by the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia and the Hovhannes Sharambeyan Folk Arts Museum, in collaboration with the Gavar Municipality.

When a Dutch documentary film group, led by Noyemi Corlu, visited us earlier this month, they took drone footage of Garni canyon and the Symphony of Stones, which is directly below our Centre. Mathieu Peters then made this wonderful video for us - many thanks!!!
