Draw what you see. NOT what you know. … one of the most important lessons learned in school. So how do you sketch a massive cathedral, scale beyond measure, hundreds of pinacles, spires, alcoves, statues, friezes, etc…. You draw the feel, the vibe of touches of light and shadow, not exactly what you know is there.
