A Modernist gem by acclaimed architect Walter Loos was to undergo an extensive renovation and expansion. Labvert has developed a design concept that carefully preserves the home’s remarkable character while elevating it to meet the expectations of contemporary living.

Located in Vienna’s prestigious 19th district, the striking cubic composition of the terraced villa would still be legible as proposed in the visualizations by Labvert. To respond to the demand for additional space, a new volume would be sensitively added to the existing structure. Conceptualized as an independent architectural element, the extension features a glass façade whose reflective qualities deliberately contrast with the plastered stone surfaces of the original building.

The new volume will accommodate a generous master suite and a new kitchen, while the basement level will be expanded to include parking for three cars, as well as a spa area with sauna, home cinema, and wine cellar. The garden in turn will be reinterpreted with a contemporary sensibility through the integration of a pool that harmoniously complements the existing terraced landscape.

The historic structure will be preserved in its material integrity and meticulously restored. Character-defining elements—such as the wide cantilevered sun awning—will be carefully repaired and reinstated to their original quality.

Spring is finally on its way! 🌸🌿 Time to celebrate colors, flowers, and fresh inspirations.

Working across both large- and small-scale projects, Labvert designed a fragrance tester for the Allegra Eau de Parfum collection by Bulgari. In harmony with the vibrant flacons, exquisite glass funnels are topped with golden star-shaped handles — an iconic detail of the Italian luxury house.

Inside each tester, a ceramic block infused with perfume lets customers experience the scent in its purest form. This is essential, as the collection invites them to personalize their fragrance: choose from ten base scents and enhance them with five magnifying essences to create a unique signature combination.

Labvert has designed the first Dior Airport Spa, at Hamad International Airport in Doha, Qatar. Located in the tropical indoor garden Orchard, this luxurious two-floor boutique and spa ensures a serene and rejuvenating experience for travelers
Drawing inspiration from the elegance and timeless beauty associated with the Dior brand, Labvert created a harmonious blend of modern design elements and classic luxury, providing a tranquil retreat amid the airport’s dynamic environment. The meticulously crafted interior with its sleek lines, luxurious materials, and a palette of soothing colors create an ambiance of calm and sophistication.
The Dior Spa is home to eight treatment rooms, each with its own identity, taking up the design codes of the House of Dior. One of the standout features is the first Dior treatment area for men including a bespoke barber service. The Constellation double suite is an invitation to indulge in a unique moment of sensorial pleasure beneath a starry décor – it moreover contains a private hammam and whirlpool bath. Labvert's high-end design ensures that the spa serves as a peaceful haven, providing a stark yet welcoming contrast to the airport's hustle and bustle.

Get into vacation mode with this recent project by Labvert!

Located on the Croatian Coast near Zadar, the Falkensteiner Resort Punta Skala offers its guests now the option to stay in one of five luxury villas designed by Labvert in cooperation with Stockinger/Deutsch Architects.

These vacation homes offer the highest living comfort combined with secluded privacy. Each house extends over 200 square meters and accommodates up to seven people. The typology of the villas interprets the Dalmatian architecture and local materials.

The cubic building volumes made of solid natural stone masonry are framed with five columns and a prominent wooden pergola structure for well needed shade. While offering panoramic vistas of the sea, the inner organization and color palette of the villas further reflect the Mediterranean surroundings. Each villa has a carefully curated private garden with swimming pool and resting areas.

Labvert designed Apartment in Vienna

When rejuvenating an historical apartment for a design loving couple in Vienna, Labvert applied a uniquely holistic approach. Rather than heterogeneous mix-and-match, all materials, colours and shapes are meticulously coordinated throughout the entire apartment. Taking aesthetic inspiration from the mid-century style, the rooms pay tribute to the heyday of interior design in the 1950s and 60s while simultaneously catering perfectly to the individual needs of the apartment owners.
