I've never properly celebrated the fact that since May I've been a volunteer at a community centre in Rotterdam Zuid.
that means I'm building it up with others, shaping its current form and its future. meeting people, so many who just need a friendly chat. it also gets to be a playground for me and for my workshop participants.
thank you for having me. thank you for trusting my passion and my occasional ramblings.

5. Do we need to share what we've made?
Only if it feels good for you.

6. Can I have a quiet time creating on my own during the session or am I expected to socialise?
Absolutely. I usually play some relaxing music (like lo-fi beats), and participants are free to chat or just work on their pieces without talking.

7. Do you teach art lessons?
Nope. I don't teach, I offer guidance.

8. Can I only sign up for your workshop if I have burnout?
No, you can ALWAYS sign up. It’s just that I want to help this specific group deal with what it or has happened to them.

Part 1 of questions I get asked about my workshops.

1. How do I sign up?
Simply follow the link for the events, shared here/on the website/LI, with most of them available via Meetup and Eventbrite. DM me if that doesn't work for you!

2. Where do you host your workshops, Mon?
In Rotterdam it’s usually at the Schieblock. Sometimes I facilitate at a partner location, sometimes it’s fully online. But that is always stated in the meeting description!

3. Do I need prior art experience?
Not at all, everyone is welcome regardless of their level.

4. Do I have to bring any materials?
Art supplies are included for in-person workshops. For online sessions, anything you have available is fine.
