Out Of Zululand We are an Adelaide-based store selling South African crafts and homewares.

In 2005, our small family of 3 made the jump across the ocean in search of a better life. On trips back to our 'other home' we would always bring back trinkets to share with our Australian friends, always finding a sense of beauty and comfort in items that reminded us of home. In 2014, after 10 years of collecting fabrics and beadwork from South Africa, as well as stocking some of our fabric produ

cts in an African inspired store, we took the jump and went to our first ever pop up market in at the Gaslight Tavern in Brompton. Now, we are having a great time sharing the products that we love so much with others and bringing a little bit of African vibrancy to Adelaide.

I’ve been taking a well needed break from social media and my phone screen but I’m back to say Happy New Year from us at Out of Zululand.

2024 has been quite a strange year for retail and I want to thank you for your support - whatever form it takes. Even just being here, liking our posts and replying to our stories is amazing.

Thank you so much for supporting local - it means the world to us that you choose to buy our products.
