Sometimes a photo says it all. 🤎

I didn’t style this or move things around. The morning sun hit this corner of my home, Dream Haven was glowing away and it just felt like one of those peaceful moments worth capturing.

These are the moments I think about when I’m creating candles. Not the big occasions, but the everyday moments at home that make you pause for a second and appreciate what you’ve built around you.

We get asked quite often if we offer refills for our hanging car diffusers and the answer is no — and there’s a good reason for that.

Our car diffusers use a wooden lid that absorbs fragrance oil over time. Once that wood becomes saturated, it loses its ability to absorb fragrance effectively, increasing the risk of leaks, drips and spills. Keeping your car and belongings safe is always our priority.

Another reason is fragrance crossover. The wooden lid retains the scent from your original diffuser, so when a new fragrance is added, you’ll never experience the true scent exactly as intended. Instead, you’ll often get a mix of the old and new fragrance.

Our car diffusers are also priced to be an affordable luxury. By the time you purchase a refill, you’re often not far off the cost of a brand-new diffuser anyway. A new diffuser gives you fresh fragrance, a fresh wooden lid@and the best possible scent performance from day one.

Sometimes the cheapest option isn’t always the best option. We’d rather see you enjoy a brand-new diffuser that performs exactly as intended than spend money on a refill that may not give you the results you’re hoping for.

While we know some of you would love a refill option, we’ve chosen to focus on providing the best possible performance, safety, and fragrance experience every time.

If the woman I was 10 years ago could see me today, she wouldn’t recognise this life.

Back then, I was just trying to get through the day. I was carrying grief, searching for answers, trying to fill a void and honestly, I had no idea where life was taking me.

What I didn’t realise at the time was that every challenge, every setback, every lesson and every hard season was shaping the woman I would eventually become. There was no overnight success. No magic moment where everything suddenly fell into place. There were just thousands of small decisions. Showing up when I didn’t feel like it. Learning from my mistakes. Backing myself. Growing through things I never thought I’d have to face.

Over the years I’ve discovered who I am, what matters to me and what I’m capable of when I stop waiting for the perfect time and simply start.

The business, the opportunities, the growth, the life I’ve built — none of it was handed to me.

It was built.

One decision.
One hard day.
One lesson.
One small step at a time.

And for the first time in a long time, I can honestly say I’m proud of myself.

Tonight’s vibe, brought to you by Dream Haven. 🤎

Tonight I’m placing our fragrance order for the cooler months, and there’s no better inspiration than our Dream Haven candle.

With Summer and Autumn now behind us, it’s time to transition our market stall from the fresh, fruity and tropical fragrances of the warmer months (don’t worry, they’re still available online) and make room for a collection inspired by the cooler season ahead.

I’m finalising the scents that will take us through Winter
