It's International Crochet Day! This bag is the Venfi Market Bag, a design that was inspired by my Dungeons and Dragons character Venfi Turen. The leafy texture of the green stripes was inspired by her forest gnome heritage.

How did you spend your Saturday morning? I spent mine learning new knitting skills at with in her Full On Fair Isle class. I left this class with a handle on floats and tension, and I've now worked out a way to hold yarn in both hands!

Sunday sock sesh! The on again off again socks just need to be cast off, but I couldn't resist a new cast on with this gorgeous yarn. The pattern is supposed to be worked cuff down, which is not what I prefer, so I'm adapting it to toe up. Also, if you see a mistake, you didn't.

My plan for today was to attend one of the local markets as a seller. However, when I got home from the footy last night I realised I was critically low on spell slots (D&D version of spoon theory) and didn't want to burn myself out. I've had six days off my day job and I kinda want to be functioning for that tomorrow so I decided to not go to the market*.

Instead I'm working on clarifying some steps in my Venfi Market Bag pattern that was tested last month. One of my testers had an issue with stitch counts so I'm hoping by adding step by step images and/or crochet charts will help with this.

* FYI it's a no booking and pay on the day kind of market which means someone else isn't missing out on a spot...I'm just missing out on potential sales
