The person who designed and built this house come out I promise I won’t hurt you.

This floor plan is so fu**ed up I just gave up doing the elevation, a normal room has like 4 to 8 elevations and this house has like a trillion 🥲 a professional Rachel will like up everything but at this point I just gave up 💁🏽‍♀️ I believe hell has a special place for people who design these angled houses

Precision is 🔑

Look at this tile work 🔥

This was not an easy tile to work with, and definitely not an easy location to apply it, but our tiler Craig took the time to calculate every finger tile placement, taking the width, gaps, and alignment into consideration, and mitred the edges to perfection.

At the beginning, the client just wanted a simple splashback, but it is one of those things where the simpler it is, the harder it is to make it look perfect 👌🏽 every detail shows.

Now the client is obsessed, and honestly so am I.

Templeton Built delivers the result 🙌🏽 So proud to be working with these bunch that genuinely cares about getting things right.

Bottle-Axe type of property can be so amazing to a lot of people.

Two concepts.
One bottle-axe block.
Two completely different arrival experiences.

Option 01 — You step through the entry and are immediately greeted by a central courtyard. Light pours in. The boundary between inside and outside dissolves. The courtyard becomes the emotional heart of the home, grounding, calming, architectural.

Option 02 — Instead of fighting the driveway clearance requirement, we use it. Because nothing can be built along that access strip, we shift the alfresco to the front. The outdoor space suddenly feels expansive, generous, almost unexpected for a rear block.

Same constraints.
Two design philosophies.

One turns inward and creates a sanctuary core.
The other embraces the frontage and amplifies spatial perception.

Which one do you feel drawn to ? The inward oasis 🌿 or the open-front generosity?

Here’s something interesting.

People think things clash because they chose wrong.

They didn’t.

They clash because they’re lonely.

A big Monument roof feels awkward…
until a heavy charcoal planter sits under it.

Suddenly it works.
Now the roof has someone to talk to.

A warm timber floor fights a cool stone benchtop…
until one warm element sits on top.

Now they understand each other.

Your brain isn’t judging style.
It’s searching for relationships.

Most homes that feel “off”
are just mid-conversation.

I meet so many people who freeze in showrooms
because every option suddenly feels risky.

Not because they’re bad at design, but because no one taught them how elements connect.

That’s exactly what I teach inside Palette Perfection
How to see the relationships
so decisions finally feel obvious.

If you’ve ever held a sample and doubted everything…

Inspired by the quiet elegance of a Japanese bathhouse, this space was designed as a sanctuary, where stillness, texture, and light converge.

Natural teak brings warmth and soul, while the Nativa tile by Kronos takes centre stage—its gentle ripples catching the light like reflections on water.

By layering tone, tactility, and shadow, we crafted more than just a bathroom—it’s a moment of calm, a ritual of retreat.
