🥣 A little bit of home cooking on the road… ❤️

Two nights ago we stayed in the lovely little town of Port Fairy. After a very cold and miserable day, it was so nice to settle into our quaint little room and have a cosy night in.

I had been carrying a few ingredients around with me for days — rice, spinach, leek and most of what I needed for a risotto. I was only missing a couple of things, including the white w**e and thyme, but I thought, well, I've got everything else, so let's use it! 😂

So out came the Thermy and I whipped up a beautiful, hearty spinach and leek risotto for our dinner. 🥬🧅🍚

There’s something pretty satisfying about turning a handful of ingredients you've been carting around on a road trip into a delicious homemade dinner!
And Port Fairy itself was gorgeous. After the rain and grey skies, we woke to a much calmer morning and this beautiful view of the boats and marina. ⛵️❤️

It’s been such a lovely little adventure — travelling for the wedding in the Dandenongs, exploring Victoria, visiting the Twelve Apostles and now making our way back home to South Australia.
Sometimes you don't need a fancy restaurant… just a cosy room, a Thermy and a few bits and pieces from the fridge! 😂❤️

🌊 𝗗𝗶𝗱 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘁𝘁𝘆 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆… 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸𝘆𝗮𝗿𝗱! 🇦🇺

Today we called into the Twelve Apostles along the Great Ocean Road — and wow… what an incredible sight! 😍

Even though the weather was a little grey, drizzly and typically Victorian 😂, it somehow added to the dramatic beauty of the coastline.

I’ve travelled to some amazing places overseas and absolutely love seeing the world, but sometimes we forget just how incredibly lucky we are with what we have right here in Australia. 🇦🇺❤️

The Twelve Apostles certainly look a little different to when we visited many years ago. There are now beautiful walkways, viewing platforms and plenty of infrastructure to make it easier for everyone to enjoy them. Back then, I seem to remember basically driving up, getting out of the car and having a look! 😂

And of course, there aren't actually twelve Apostles standing anymore — years of wind and waves have taken their toll on these limestone stacks. But what remains is still pretty spectacular.
🚗 This trip has been such a lovely opportunity to see more of Victoria while we were over for a 💍 wedding in the Dandenongs — and now we're making our way back home to South Australia, enjoying a few more sights along the way. .👀

Sometimes the best adventures really are 𝐢𝐧 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐲𝐚𝐫𝐝. ❤️

💚 𝗔 𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝗠7 𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆! 💚

Ten years ago, she was one of my very first TM5 customers, and today I had the absolute joy of helping Mesa step into her next Thermomix chapter with her brand-new TM7! 🥰

While I’m away in Victoria for a 💍 wedding, she’s enjoying a holiday in 🌴 Darwin, so we arranged for her TM7 to be delivered there. And once it arrived, we jumped on FaceTime and had our very own virtual unboxing and delivery briefing! 📦✨

✅ We updated her machine, explored the features, worked through some tips and tricks, and made sure she felt confident and excited to start using it.
I just love that distance doesn’t have to stop us from sharing these special moments. 💕

From her very first TM5 ten years ago to her brand-new TM7 today — what a lovely full-circle moment! And I can’t wait to catch up again when she’s back in Derby and hear all about her TM7 adventures.

🤗 Three degrees last night, foggy and beautiful this morning… welcome to the Dandenongs! 🤍🌫️

One of my favourite things about staying in an Airbnb is discovering the kitchen — what’s there, what’s not, and what you can create with it!

This morning I was going to make an omelette using the beautiful breakfast goodies our host had left for us. I had even brought my TM7 along and had planned to cook the omelette in the Varoma.
But… no baking paper! 😂

For the Varoma method, you need to scrunch the baking paper under water, wring it out and then lay it into the Varoma dish so the omelette can cook beautifully.

So, a little rummage through the kitchen cupboards later, and I found this gorgeous cast-iron pan.
Problem solved. 🙌
And look at that omelette! 🥚🍅🥬
Eggs, bacon, tomato, spinach, onion… cooked up beautifully in a pan that was already sitting there waiting to be discovered.

It’s funny how travelling makes you appreciate the simple things — sometimes the piece of equipment you need is already sitting in the cupboard. ❤️

And now I’m curious…

💚 One very happy new TM7 owner! 💚

What a whirlwind this week has been! After three days exploring beautiful 🦘 Kangaroo Island, I drove from Victor Harbor to Adelaide yesterday — just making it to the post office in time to collect a very special parcel… a brand-new TM7!
And I couldn't wait to deliver it to its very excited new owner. 🥰

She was previously a TM6 owner, but after visiting the Royal Adelaide Show and seeing the TM7 in action, she was so impressed that she decided to sell her TM6 to her son and order the new TM7 for herself. 🤩

I delivered her new Thermomix last night on my way to dropping off my beautiful parrot 🦜Barney, who is being looked after while we head across to Victoria for a week and a wedding in the Dandenongs. 🦜💕

Seeing the excitement on her face as we unpacked her new TM7 and went through some of its features was just the loveliest part of my day. These are the moments that make being a Thermomix Consultant so rewarding. 💚

There’s nothing quite like delivering a brand-new Thermomix and seeing that “I can't believe it's finally here!” excitement! 🥰

Now, off to enjoy a few days in Ballarat before the wedding festivities begin! 💕✨
