Thank you Donna for joining Helen today to learn the art of making baskets from rope. Your basket looks fabulous and I can see many more in your future 😄 Such a wonderful gift idea to make and fill with goodies. Helen was also able to complete a demonstration basket with Christmas fabrics which looks beautiful 🦋💖

Lots of fun today putting together these little characters in our Sew 26 Sew Along. Thank you Debbie, Donna, Helen and Karen for joining me for the challenge! The pattern is Kitten Caddy by Jodie Carleton of Ric Rac. When I first looked at the pattern I thought no way that's a bit hard. Jodie's instructions are fabulous and once I turned my little kitten out it looked great so... Ta Da! It was a fun pattern to make and you can use it for pins and needles and tuck your scissors through the arm. A very cute addition to any sewing table.

Create your own baskets from rope and fabric strips. Stitch them into which ever size you like. Or make them au naturel and stitch together with a pretty thread colour. The possibilities are endless!

Feast your eyes on this beautiful Show and Tell from our lovely customers:

* Kaye brought in her amazing outdoors quilt complete with a drawstring bag made from leftover fabrics. Kaye used fabrics from our Great Outdoors and Tea Dye ranges.

* Maureen visited with her beautiful California quilt looking for the perfect border fabric. Pattern by Laundry Basket Quilts.

* Di made this gorgeous vest from our Indigo Blooming fabric bought a couple of years ago. Di had been busily Sashiko stitching the fabric at our Meet Play Sew days to enhance the design. To complete the vest Di chose a rusty red for the lining from our Saddle Ranch collection.
