One of the most overlooked details in retail lighting? Colour accuracy.

One of the key things we consider when selecting fittings is CRI (Colour Rendering Index), which measures how accurately colours appear under a light source.

It’s often discussed in residential projects, but it’s just as important in commercial spaces.

At the Feather & Noise flagship store, high CRI lighting was a key consideration to ensure clothing colours appeared rich, true to life, and consistent throughout the space. Because when you’re selling clothing, the way a fabric colour is perceived can make all the difference.

The Random Cloud Pendant anchors the dining table with a sense of softness and volume, while adjustable downlights quietly do the work around it, highlighting the artwork and adding depth beyond the table itself.

A night of good conversations, great company and a whole lot of light chats.

A little look back at a great evening in the LLL Studio, where we welcomed ArchiTeam Cooperative Ltd for an evening dedicated to all things lighting.

From drinks and food, to getting hands-on in our Tech Room and exploring the studio, the evening was all about sharing our knowledge, sparking conversations and giving architects a deeper look into the world of lighting, while earning valuable CPD points along the way.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us, asked questions, got involved and spent the evening learning with us. We loved opening up the conversation around lighting and sharing what we know.

For , Volcano by Venini is one he keeps coming back to.

It’s a piece that carries more than just visual impact. The collection draws inspiration from a Venini project created in the early 1970s, originally designed as a sculptural architectural installation of embossed glass panels.
