Jennifer Guz, Interior Designer began the lifelong journey into all things colour and design from a very young age. Studying Interior Decorating from 1999, her first year out of high school. Prior to that working within the soft furnishing's Department in David Jones during schooling. Once completed a Taubmans Colour Traineeship was completed where the finer points of
mixing colour and colour theory were learned. After a year or so within the Paint Industry Jennifer moved on to work as a Retail Designer and Merchandiser within the Everyday Living and Sleep City group, designing stores, assisting with buying twice a year and setting the establishing new stores. Once completed each store was maintained and re-designed on a regular basis to keep up with current trends. Moving on from the Retail Industry Jennifer started within the Project Home Industry working as a Colour Consultant. She went on to manage a Colour Studio up until and including the time she became a mum. During this time she returned to further her studies at Enmore School of Design on a part-time basis. With over 9 years experience working as a Colour Consultant with hundreds of New Home Buyers and consulting with several Residentual Builders including Sarpel Homes, Alkira Homes, Clarendon Homes, Wincrest Homes, Planwell Homes and majority Eden Brae Homes. Jennifer's level of knowledge within this industry is vast. Throughout this period a hands on approach to her own renovations expanded her knowledge of building, working and learning a skill set to complete renovations including carpentry, gyprocking, rendering, painting, demolition, tiling, decking and the list goes on. Not pretending to be a tradesman in any sense of the word but certainly giving everything a try and learning from the ground up about construction and design. This has become a passion and fills Jennifer with joy. With a wide range of skills several services are available with JRG Interiors and Jennifer looks forward to each new project no matter the size.
