Just installed Vision Guard Security doors to the front entrance and both rear sliders. Sheer curtains in the Master bedroom, lounge and dining rooms, removed the old Venetian blinds from the Master bedroom also and installed new roller blinds. Really has changed the look of the rooms as well as adding some privacy. To top it off the customer was just delighted and a truly lovely person. Great for my self satisfaction too.

After much research, testing, speaking to various suppliers and installers, my business, Sun Security Doors, Flys and Blinds now have a premium range of retractable fly screens, honeycomb block out blinds and Motorized skylight honeycomb blinds.

These are great for Bi-fold doors, French doors that open outwards, skylights and total block-out for bedrooms. They also come in a dual purpose range where one way is an insect screen and the other a block-out blind.

Sometimes the simplest of jobs become unnecessarily complex. This particular job was originally sold by an experienced security door and blind company. Unfortunately the "Self confessed experienced installer they allocated may have led the company up the garden path. The job appears to have been measured wrong, original doors were too small. I had to seriously weave some magic (IE experience) here to make this look how it should. Most importantly the client is happy with the re-work and so is the company im helping out.

Filling in a pergola area is a great addition to a home. I didn't do this one but have many times. The one drawback can be the insects getting in when you need fresh air on a hot day. On this job I have found some tracking that I could modify to work as a add on that didn't look like an add on. Then manufactured made to measure sliding doors to suit the opening and adapt to existing doors. This type of work takes some though in the details and patience when trying to finish of the aluminium with neat capping and covering any gaps with a brush strip. Client was very happy with the end result !!!

Sometimes job satisfaction and the pleasure of helping a client out of a bind is especially awesome when they appreciate it the way this lady did. With a special needs child who was an escape artist I completely understand why I was asked to urgently get this done. Note the hight of the handle is around 1650mm way out of reach.

Infill using a rubber coated nylon called Pet Mesh. Black 50x50 frame and security door frame. Has a pet flap for access and double sliding doors in the centre. We replicated the door sizes to match the door sizes on the glass sliding doors and brick nib walls on each side.
