My Facebook Marketplace secret for getting TOP DOLLAR 💰

Ever struggled to sell your decor pieces on Facebook Marketplace and wondered why they’re not moving? 💸

Here are a few things I do that help me get top dollar for my items:

✨ 1. Style it properly
Don’t just snap a quick photo in the garage. Place the item in a styled space with good natural light. Give it a quick edit if needed. People need to be able to picture it in their own home.

✨ 2. Show where it’s from
I always include a screenshot from the original website showing the retail price, brand name and measurements. It instantly adds credibility and helps buyers understand the value.

✨ 3. Tell people why you’re selling it
One of the first things buyers think is, “If it’s so good, why are they getting rid of it?” A simple explanation can help put their mind at ease and build trust.

✨ 4. Don’t rely on Marketplace alone
Some of my quickest sales have actually come from local community groups. Before publishing, share your listing to relevant buy/sell and local groups to get more eyes on it.

I’ve sold a lot of furniture and decor over the years, and these simple tricks have made a huge difference.

SHEIN unboxing! Now I’m trying to challenge myself and start shooting more creative shoots, I need some different outfits and myself or the models aren’t going to always have in their existing wardrobe, what is in my vision.
I’d definitely like to work with stylists, but unfortunately until they’re knocking down my door, it’s down to me. As I’ll most likely never use the items again because I’ve already shot them, the cost needs to be low. I’ve actually found some great cheap finds on facebook marketplace but sometimes a little order is more practical when looking for something more specific.
Can’t wait to see these on an actual size 8 model and then cry my self to sleep in comparison 😂

Ok I’m seriously obsessed with using AI to create a realistic visual of our upcoming pool renovation! Welcome to our pool house. And when I say pool house what I mean is where we store all the floats, cushions, pool pump etc etc All the ugly stuff that we use in real life but don’t want seen when we entertain or hire out our home for shoots. Again, AI hasn’t quite got the design 100% right but doing this exercise has certainly helped spark my excitement again for the renovation after Tweed council crushing my renovation spirit beyond repair.

Using AI to try and create our fire pit space so my vision is clear to my husband and our builder. It’s not 100% perfect but it’s pretty bloody good! And also actually a lot of fun!!! I’m trying to decide which balustrade to use as I want it to look right and align with the euro style we have. It’s too much of an expensive project to get wrong and be unhappy with the outcome. But using AI to picture it for me is a literal dream come to life - well almost. Now which balustrade?? First or second?

Feeling so blessed to be recognised by in their latest edition with our studio kitchenette being featured in their 10 hottest kitchen trends!
Also our gorgeous potting station got a full page spread, which gives me another reason to tell my husband he is wrong and I am right when it comes to design decisions 😂🙊🫶🏻

Why is it always the simplest designs that have the biggest impact — the quiet details, the imperfect lines, the things that don’t try too hard?
