Now that the cool weather is finally making an appearance, being back in the saddle is much more appealing.
For the trail rider I have front saddlebags, an absolute boon- with room for lunch, drinks, first aid and much more all right where you can reach it! There is a separate map pocket and a clip for keys to keep them safe.
These are $75 a set. Can be made in several different colours.

Front saddlebags are just the thing... with a map pocket and keyring clip.Made from good quality lightweight canvas with easy velcro closures giving instant access.. no fiddly clips or buckles. Simply clip to front dees on any type of saddle (can be custom made) and loops for girth. Large enough for drinks, lunches, snacks, first aid, suncream and other needs. $75/set. 0427329544

Shin Tappers - Very useful to have in your kit- When applied above the knees, will stop the horse pawing and digging. You don't need to put up with this annoying behaviour any longer! This product does not hurt the horse- it only irritates when pawing. Elastic inserts for a good fit. $38 per pair. Once the horse is accustomed to them, they can be used in the float.

Hay bags with a hole each side so that when the horse flips it round, they can continue eating! Available to order- in many choices of binding colour, some different canvas colours. Very strong, and washable. $28 each.

The Peggsequine Ute Bag in it's latest colour! The bag is large enough to take a big stock saddle and saddle cloth, along with bridle, helmet, boots, saddlebags and a brush or two. The zip allows the bag to open right out for ease of use. Great for the back of the ute, or when getting a lift with someone else! It is made of good quality canvas with double zips, a handle at each end for manouverability, as well as the main carry handles. The standard one is $120.
