Check out the before and afters of this recently completed bathroom. I love the sill-less shower screen with sliding door (thanks Andrew Colley Services). It is great for walkers, wheelchairs or just the lazy! Also like the custom made western red cedar seat I made mainly for a handrail to assist getting off the toilet. The custom made shower grate (thanks to GH Sheetmetal) with extra large outlet, for cleaning, is a great addition. Another great client well pleased with their transformation.

Before and after of a roof restoration. Existing roof was well beyond repair, had in fact been repaired on numerous occasions. So decision was made to replace roof since the pitching plate was totally rotten. After starting the removal of the roof sheets a new risk assessment was necessary as I discovered that not only were there no rafters present but the only batten was an old inch by inch window mullion section. Incredible that this roof remained as long as it did like maybe 100 years!

Not bad for a days' work. Not looking forward to the next one getting the tiles off the wall, they are stuck solid...

Do you sometimes find jobs are frustrating but in the end turn out very rewarding and fun? or is it just me? I have always liked bricklaying just in moderation... Keep an eye out for more projects on this job, there are some interesting tasks coming up.
