Darcie Nicol Floral designs has won the award for Women in Business award 2026 💐🥳💕

Feeling incredibly humbled and grateful after winning the Women in Business award at the Bega Business Awards on Saturday night for Darcie Nicol Floral Designs.
To everyone who nominated and supported me, thank you from the bottom of my heart. This recognition is such an enormous honour and I am truly over the moon to be acknowledged for something I have poured so much love, passion, and hard work into.

I’m so proud of what this business has grown into and what it continues to offer our community each and every day. None of it would be possible without the incredible people around me.

A huge thank you to everyone who supports me in running this business, especially Taylor for all of your help, and to my friends and family for always being my biggest cheerleaders and having my back through it all.

To the incredible women I was nominated alongside, congratulations to each and every one of you. I am constantly inspired by the amazing work you all do and the beautiful businesses you bring to Bega. It was such a privilege to share the evening with you all and celebrate women, business, and everything we are capable of achieving together.

A very special thank you to Kirsten from Basil and Dawn. Your support, creativity, kindness, and chats mean so much to me, and being able to work alongside you each day is incredibly special.

And finally, thank you to the Bega Chamber of Commerce for putting together such a wonderful evening celebrating our local businesses and community. We are so lucky to have such a supportive and encouraging business community here in Bega.

Today, on ANZAC Day, we pause to remember and honour the bravery, sacrifice, and enduring spirit of the ANZACs. It’s a day that holds deep meaning for so many — a time to reflect, to pay our respects, and to say: Lest we forget.
I’m incredibly grateful to have played a small part in today’s commemorations through my floral work. Creating wreaths for such an important occasion is truly an honour.
