🎨 Bellingen Shire Arts Trail Weekend – 7 & 8 November!

What a wonderful weekend to be in Bellingen! We’re excited to once again be part of the Bellingen Shire Arts Trail, celebrating the incredible creativity and artistic talent we have right here in our region.

The Arts Trail is a fantastic opportunity to explore local studios, galleries and creative spaces, meet the artists behind the work and discover just how much talent is tucked away in our beautiful Shire.

Here at Bellingen Potters Collective, we’ll be joining in the celebrations with some fabulous ceramics and live demonstrations!

🌿 Saturday 7 November
Kylie Loebel will be throwing on her mini pottery wheel, and Jen Stewart will be demonstrating how she makes her beautiful ceramic flowers.

🌿 Sunday 8 November
Our guest potter Reanne Brewin will be demonstrating her wonderful handbuilding techniques.

We’ll also have gorgeous work from our November guest potters Reanne Brewin, Keith Bobbin and Rob Slingsby filling our front windows, along with a wonderful selection of ceramics from our regular makers.

With so many talented artists opening their doors across the Shire, why not plan a day out, follow the trail, enjoy a coffee or lunch in one of our lovely local cafés and support our creative community?

We’re delighted to be taking part in Australian Ceramics Open Studios again this year! 🍃

Join us on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 November 2026, from 10am to 4pm, for a weekend celebrating ceramics and local makers along the Coffs Harbour–Sawtell–Bellingen ceramics trail.

At Bellingen Potters Collective, our windows will feature guest potters Reanne Brewin, Keith Bobbin and Rob Slingsby, with demonstrations throughout the weekend.

🌿 Saturday 7 November

The trail includes six stops:

🏺 Luke Ford – Coffs Harbour
Visit Luke’s studio, watch students work on Saturday and see a gas kiln opened and unloaded on Sunday at around 11:30am.

🏺 Heather May – Sawtell
Discover homewares, sculptural pieces, workshops and ceramic experiences.

🏺 Clare Danby – Bellingen
Enjoy studio tours, demonstrations and activities at 10am and 2pm, plus a cuppa, exhibition and pottery for sale.

🏺 Dubravka Sabljak – Bellingen
Explore otherworldly figures and paintings inspired by nature and Gumbaynggirr Country.

🏺 Gloria Malone – Bellingen
Browse tableware, lampshades and jewellery, and chat about Gloria’s creative processes.

🏺 Bellingen Potters Collective – Bellingen
Meet our makers, watch demonstrations and browse locally made ceramics.

A little bit of whimsy from our October guest potter, Ursula Burgoyne!

Ursula’s fabulous woodfired plates are full of personality! We love her playful approach to decoration, with quirky inlaid teapots, bold spots, flowing lines and intricate patterns. The warm, earthy colours and beautiful variations created by the woodfiring add even more interest to these wonderful pieces.

No two plates are alike, and that’s part of their charm! Whether you use them every day or have them on display, they’re little works of art in their own right.

We have a lovely selection of Ursula’s one-of-a-kind plates in the shop until the end of October. Come and find your favourite!
