💙🎁New Artwork Gift for Uncles Partner 🎁💙

This artwork was created as a special gift for Arie, who is not only my uncle in law’s girlfriend, but also a really beautiful friend to me. I wanted to make something meaningful for her to show my appreciation for the kindness, love, and warmth she always gives out 💙🫶🏻

Arie isn’t only my uncle’s partner — she is someone I’ve genuinely gotten to know and grown close to. She is such a sweet, caring, and thoughtful person. I truly appreciate our talks, our time hanging out together, and the way she is always so kind and supportive. This artwork is my way of giving something back to her, as a small reflection of the kindness she always gives to others.

She is not only an amazing friend to me, but also an incredible partner to my uncle-in-law. She has helped him through so much, and she has done so much for him and for his family. This is one of the reasons I wanted to give her this artwork — to reflect the kind of beautiful, loving, and helping person she is.

Titled: Arie Wah
Medium: Mixed Media on Canvas
Acrylic Paint & Markers (Paint & Permanent) on primed canvas

Meaning)
Here is an artwork titled Arie Wah, which depicts a young female with long black hair, soft rosy lips, and gentle features, surrounded by blooming red roses and intricate white dot-work on a dark Navy background. The female in this piece represents Arie my uncles partner. I have also painted Arie wearing traditional Karen cultural tops, which represents their culture, identity, and pride in her heritage.

I chose to surround her with roses as a symbol of beauty, love, and strength - reflecting the gentle yet powerful spirit she carries. The background of this artwork is surrounded with aborginal dot-work, symbolising connection, love, and storytelling through art. The background represents connection, protection, and storytelling through art and symbolises stars as Arie shines as bright as a star. The blue tones framing her portrait symbolise calmness, depth, and loyalty. And i have chosen Navy blue because it’s her favourite colour.

Through this artwork, I wanted to capture not only Arie’s beauty, but also her warmth, kindness, and gentle soul. Arie Wah is a celebration of her presence, her story, and the light she brings into the lives of those around her.

Message written on the back of the artwork:
“To Arie (Thah Dah) 🤍
I made this artwork for you with my heart to show you how much I appreciate what you have given me. Thank you for always being so kind and thoughtful.

You are honestly such a beautiful, kind person inside and out. I hope this artwork makes up for the thoughtful gifts you have given me 🤍
I still cherish the gifts you have given me, and I still have the beautiful collage you made me & Muway up 🤍 It meant a lot to me and I’ll always appreciate you doing that for me.

I hope this artwork captured how beautiful you are from my perspective to you 🤍

The moment my uncle opened the artwork I made for him 🤍
This piece was created to honour the love he shares with his wife, and seeing his reaction meant everything to me.

Seeing his emotions and love for the piece made every hour of creating it worth it 🥹💛

I poured so much heart into this artwork, and this moment reminded me why I create — for love, connection, and memories that last a lifetime 🥹✨
Forever grateful for this beautiful moment.

Here’s a look at the process behind my very first artwork of 2026 🤍
This piece was created as a special gift for my uncle Eh Ler Htoo and his wife Naw Day Eh to honour their love, culture, and journey together.

This artwork was created to honour the beautiful love shared between my uncle Eh Ler Htoo and his wife Naw Day Eh 🤍

Their relationship represents loyalty, respect, strength, and deep connection. The kind of love that grows stronger through time, shared experiences, and unwavering support for one another.

As I painted this piece, I held their love story in my heart with every brushstroke and every dot. I truly hope this artwork reflects the warmth, devotion, and gentle strength of the love they share, and serves as a reminder of their journey together 💛

Here is my first artwork of 2026 , here is a gift i made for my Uncle , who is visitin from America at the moment.

This artwork was created as a special gift for my uncle and his wife. I wanted to make something meaningful for them, as my partner’s family has always been so kind, welcoming, and accepting of me.

One of the reasons I love creating artworks for my loved ones and my family-in-law is because it’s how I express gratitude, love, and connection. Every piece I make for family is filled with intention, care, and heart.

This artwork is a reflection of the warmth, love, and respect I feel for them, and a small way of saying thank you for the kindness and love they have always shown me 🤍

Vandalism Hurts!

I'm heartbroken to see my Nala artwork vandalized again 😔💔. As an artist, it's disheartening to see my work disrespected.
This mural was part of the Mr Dimples mural/panel workshop in 2023, organized with YO Bendigo, which gave emerging artists like me a chance to collaborate on public art.

The artwork, featured near Coles in Bendigo, is a tribute to my beloved cat Nala, who passed away this year. I was devastated to see it defaced, especially after being told it would be taken down and replaced with new artworks (a project I was excited to be part of). The disrespect hurts, and it's disappointing that my concerns about the artwork's safety were dismissed with comments that people "felt touched" by it.

The first vandalism is still visible, and now it's happened again. If you have any information about the person(s) responsible, please contact me or the police. Share this post to help bring attention to the issue. I'd like to take this artwork home, given the disrespect it's faced.

 Tilted: Nala Long 2023
Mixed Media on Wood Panel

Meaning: This artwork depicts a Cat who represents my childhood Companion Nala, this artwork is dedicated to my beloved pet Nala who sadly passed away towards the start of the year (2023). Nala is surrounded by aborginal dot-work which represents how Im connected to my Nala through dreamtime & heaven. Nala was a beautiful grumpy, b***y licking 15 year old tabby cat. I had Nala since I was 4, I miss her so much.
