Don’t be fooled by their cutesie little webbed feet or their weird “ducks bill”.

The Platypus is an incredibly interesting mammal.

The platypus is a monotreme - an animal that lays eggs. There is only one other type of monotreme in existence and it lives in Australia too - wanna take a guess at what it is?

Male Platypus have venomous spurs on their hind legs, the venom is extremely painful to humans.

All platypus glow under UV light.

This little fella is heading off on his own adventure real soon. He will be taking part in a collaboration with another creator of cute and weird Australian animals. Safe travels!

I just spent the most amazing day in the most beautiful home (.bendigo) with the most incredible group of women!

My brain is buzzing with ideas and possibilities.

I think the inaugural Content Club meeting was highly successful!

A whole lotta heart and a whole lotta “me” is behind this small business!

I’m it! Just me! That is all!

And when trying to think of a name for this little biz I just couldn’t pick anything else!

What I create has changed over the years, I’ve got way better at making things, deleted some things, added a heap! Always refining and “perfecting”.

But the one thing that hasn’t changed is me and I reckon if the name fits then wear it!

Wanna add some things?

Most of mine are applicable to all who sew but I’m pretty sure we could all add some more.

The age-old bobbin running out mid project is a doozy, I’m just so happy that both of my machines let me know when it does happen.

And sewing over my finger is something I will never forget and hope to NEVER repeat!
