A BIG CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR MAKERS & GROWERS!

How exciting to see our very own Makers & Growers Twilight Market featured in Volume 39 of the Loddon Herald!

A special shout-out to Tobie and Craig from Stitches N Yarn, Sophia from Haunted Little Houses, and Susan our fabulous face-painting Nana, captured in action and surrounded by happy children!

It’s wonderful to see our talented stallholders and the joy they bring to our community getting some well-deserved recognition in the newspaper.

To all our makers, growers, artists, food vendors, musicians, volunteers and everyone who came along, thank you for being part of such an awesome market. Despite the weather, we came together, supported small businesses and celebrated the incredible talent and community spirit we have here in Wedderburn.

Give yourselves a big pat on the back, folks. You all helped make it happen!

Now, let’s get ready to do it all again!

BIGGER, BETTER AND SUNNIER!

We’ll see you at the next Makers & Growers Twilight Market on Friday 6 November, 4pm to 8pm, at the Wedderburn Hotel grounds.

So whose bright idea was it to create a tiny house with 31 tiny windows?
Yep, I have totally done this to myself with nobody else to blame 🙄.
It's going to be worth it though (I tell myself as I paint them all, and my fingers 😁).
I'm hoping to have this finished in time for The Makers & Growers Market - Wedderburn - VIC on Friday 2nd, but if not it will be at our next outing at 18/10!

My latest side quest 😉 Very proud to have been part of the Moyne Shire Council Port Fairy project!!
I've had the chance to decorate a house built by the Port Fairy Men's Shed and work some magic!
I've tried to honour the vision of the original builder by expanding and replicating the unique bow shape window onto 3 sides, and included a (resin) 'stained glass' window, magic door, and of course, fairy lights!
I hope lots of children join the hunt for fairy houses throughout the spring school holidays!

My tiniest work yet! This fits on a coin.
Designed and crafted in wood locally by myself, with a tiny shingled roof and even tinier stained 'glass' (resin) windows.
This was quite challenging and time consuming, and I have only managed to complete one so far, but I love it.
This original piece will be available for sale tomorrow (Saturday 22nd August) at Coburg Town Hall.
We're stall 15 in the main hall, do come and say hello!

My latest design, slide 1, next to a 20 cent coin for scale, slide 2, under glass!
This is the tiniest wooden house I have made so far and it's taken more than a moment.
I know little things in domes are hardly new, but, do keep in mind this is made from wood (not card, not resin, not 3d printed), and is designed and made by myself, in my workshop.
At this stage I have just 1 of these finished that I will be bringing to The Dark Alchemy Expo on Saturday!!!

This past week or so my little buddy Mortimer has been helping with the design of something I've had on my to do list for absolutely ages.
It will be ready just in time for on Saturday!!
