Another round of testing today using our **TerraGauge Pro Worm Farm soil analyser**, with all eight farms monitored and T5 being prepared for our next castings harvest!

🌿 **TOP FARMS**
🪱 **T2**
🌡️ 19°C | 💧 40% | pH 7.3
EC 311 | Sal 243 | N 51 | P 10 | K 64
âś… **Assessment:** Stable temperature and pH. Lower indicative nutrient and EC readings than the other top farms. Continue monitoring moisture and feeding progress.
🪱 **T3**
🌡️ 19.5°C | 💧 45% | pH 7.3
EC 593 | Sal 460 | N 83 | P 20 | K 107
âś… **Assessment:** Highest moisture reading across all eight farms. Indicative nutrient readings remain relatively strong compared with most other beds.
🪱 **T4**

âś… **Assessment:** Very similar readings to T3, suggesting consistent conditions across these two farms. Temperature and pH remain stable.

âś… **Assessment:** Highest indicative EC and NPK readings of all eight farms. The spray lid has been removed, and a bread crate with hessian installed to help capture the worms. We've augered through the bedding to assess conversion into castings and are now gradually drying the farm for harvesting, while monitoring the worms.

âś… **Assessment:** Similar to E2, with slightly higher moisture and nutrient readings. Continue monitoring hydration and bedding conditions.

âś… **Assessment:** Highest moisture reading among the bottom farms, with slightly higher indicative nutrients than E2 and E3. Conditions appear relatively consistent.

âś… **Assessment:** Similar nutrient readings to E4, with slightly lower moisture and pH. No major differences apparent in today's measurements.
🔍 **OVERALL FARM SUMMARY**
🌡️ **Temperature:** 19–20.2°C across all eight farms, within a favourable range for composting worms.
💧 **Moisture:** 36–45%, with E2 and E3 requiring closer attention.
⚖️ **pH:** Consistent between 7.1 and 7.3.
🌱 **Nutrients:** T3, T4 and T5 recorded the highest indicative NPK readings, while the bottom farms generally recorded lower values.
🪱 **Harvest:** T5 is being prepared for screening, with a focus on recovering the worms before removing the finished castings.
🌿 **WHY DO WE MONITOR OUR FARMS?**
Regular testing helps us identify changes in moisture, temperature, pH and nutrient trends, allowing us to adjust our management and prepare for harvesting.
