This week in floristry class, I created this formal linear arrangement.

This style of design challenged me to focus on line, balance and proportion, with each stem carefully placed to create movement and visual interest. The use of negative space means every element has a purpose, making it a great exercise in restraint and precision.

I enjoyed working with the different textures and forms to create a contemporary design that highlights the beauty of each individual material.

This beautiful native bouquet was grown right here in Bilpin and carefully sourced from our wonderful local flower farmers. Every stem tells a story of our mountain community, the changing seasons, and the incredible growers who work so hard to bring these blooms to life.

Had fun in this week's Tafe Cert IV Floristry class. We learnt about Pavé arrangements. Was a fun class and I love how mine turned out... little bit like a fairy garden 😆🧚‍♂️🧚🏾‍♀️🌿🪵🌳
