Whether you’ve just bought your very first sewing machine, inherited one that’s been sitting in the cupboard for years, or simply want a creative hobby for yourself — our beginner sewing classes are the perfect place to start.

At Redlands Sewing School, we believe sewing should feel fun, encouraging and completely judgment-free. We’ll help you take the scary out of getting started and guide you step-by-step as you learn new skills and create your own projects.

Big little update at Redlands Sewing School 💛

You might notice something new on our April calendar…

We’ve brought together our Sewing Circle and Sit & Sew into one relaxed, creative day:
✨ Sewcial Circle Social Sew Day

It’s everything you already loved — just in one beautiful space.
Time to sew, chat, connect, share ideas, and enjoy being part of a creative community. No formal teaching, no pressure — just good company and time to make.

This change also gives us the space to introduce something we’re really excited about…

🧵 New specialty workshops are coming from May

We’re working on a range of focused classes, including:
– Free motion quilting (beginner through to advanced)
– Thread painting
– Creative & art quilting techniques
– And a few more fun ideas we can’t wait to share 👀
