Last year we held the most special day at the farm 💐 We called it ‘Blue Skies for Charlie Day’ in honour of our beautiful first grandson Charlie who we lost in July 2024 ♥️ It was a magical day, full of sunshine, joy, story telling, remembering, many tears and of course loads of flowers 🌸 We had flower picking, a bouquet bar, face painting, special products, colouring in, flower crown making and more 😊 We donated all profits from the day to HummingbirdHouse Queensland’s only children’s hospice and the place where our Charlie Bear spent his final days with his parents 🌸 Please see my pinned post for more details about that time 💙
It was such a beautiful day, we decided we would do it every year, and it’s time to announce this years date now 🌷
Sunday September 27th will be this years ‘Blue Skies for Charlie’ Day, and we so hope you can join us again, or for the first time this year 🥰 The day will run very similarly to last year, however we will be adding a few new activities such as an edible flower cupcake decorating bar, some new products and more face painting time 🎨 I’ve released a minimal amount of tickets for flower picking now and we will release more as we get closer to the date and can see how the flowers are behaving 🌼 Please use the QR code or website for bookings (only for flower picking, bookings not required for other activities), there’s also a code to donate in Charlie’s name if you can’t make the day. Don’t forget to make a booking with Scenic Rim Farm Shop for lunch 🍰
