Oreos are my favourite cookie, but I prefer knowing exactly what’s in them. No preservatives, no additives- just simple ingredients.

Freshly baked, cream-filled, and made from scratch. They take a little extra effort, but they’re worth it as an occasional treat. Plus, they’re perfect for gifting! 🍪✨

RECIPE
125g butter, softened
1 cup (220g) caster sugar
1 tbsp grated lemon rind
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups (225g) self-raising flour
1/2 cup (120g) sour cream
2 tbsp lemon juice
1/2 cup (160g) lemon curd

Pink lemonade buttercream
250g butter, softened
500g icing sugar mixture
2 tbsp pink lemonade
Pink food colouring
Lemon slices, to serve

2 firm green pears
1 egg
1/4 cup (60ml) maple syrup, plus extra to serve
1 1/4 cups (185g) self raising flour
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 cup (55g) caster sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 cup (60ml) full cream milk
1/4 cup (60ml) vegetable oil
