The Curtainmaker A family business, which goes back to 1964 when Peter Boubis, a Tailor by trade,commenced in Brunswick Street, Fitzroy.

Venetian blinds were a dominant force in the industry. In the early 1970's curtains were included in the products of manufacture. Charles Boubis entered the industry in 1969 and has been involved ever since. The Curtainmaker is owned and operated by Charles Boubis, together with his wife, Robyn. The Curtainmaker employs a staff of 6 and most soft furnishings and blinds are manufactured in house, w

here quality control can be maintained. The Curtainmaker is capable of producing the smallest and simplest items to more complex window treatments, endeavoring to cater to all consumer needs. The domestic and Commercial markets can be catered for and Charles is very happy to share his knowledge and ideas with you.Motorization is now becoming more affordable and homes being wired for Cbus will benefit from this technology.
