Painted on location in St George on a plein air retreat 🌿 There's nothing like sitting by the water under the old gums and trying to catch the light before it moves.
If you'd love to learn landscape painting, message me about upcoming workshops 🎨

Preparing for tomorrow’s workshop… 🌿

Tomorrow I’ll be welcoming a group of 10 participants from a local university for a private Cacao, Sound Bath & Mindful Watercolour experience.

Everything is ready—the cacao, singing bowls, paints, brushes and all the little details that help create a calm, welcoming space.

I love creating these moments where people can pause, breathe, reconnect with themselves and simply enjoy being creative.

I’m looking forward to sharing a beautiful afternoon together. 💚

One of the things I love most about watercolour is watching a painting slowly come to life. 🌸

For this lotus, I painted the background first, then gradually built up the flower. Working this way helps me judge the strength and harmony of my colours before adding the main subject, and I find it makes the final painting feel much more balanced.

Swipe through to see the journey from the first washes to the finished painting.

💜 Do you enjoy seeing the process behind a painting, or do you prefer just the finished artwork?
