I’ve been busy in the studio creating a fresh collection of stained glass Art Deco designs, and they’ll be available this coming weekend at my next market.

I’m back! After the Christmas rush, I basically vanished into my workshop like a goblin hoarding colourful shards of glass. But good news — I’ve re‑emerged, fingers intact, and I’ve been busy, busy, busy creating fresh stained glass pieces.

This Saturday 4 April marks my first market of 2026 and my debut at the West End Markets, Brisbane.

To kick off the market season, let’s brighten things up with some gorgeous stained glass sunflowers. I’ve made a whole bunch of these cheerful beauties — they light up a room instantly simply bring me joy.

🎄✨ Come and find me this Saturday at IndigiScapes Centre - Redland City Council for their Christmas market, set in the most beautiful natural surroundings. It’s my second-last market of the year, with the grand finale happening Sunday at Sundayz Markets—because apparently I like to finish 2025 with a sprint, not a stroll!

I’ll be bringing along three brand-new designs—Koala, Bilby, and Gouldian Finch—so fresh I haven’t even had time to photograph them yet!

With pieces ranging from fauna and flora to landscapes, Art Deco, fantasy, and abstract, there’s something for every taste (and every budget). Perfect for those Christmas stockings—because let’s be honest, stained glass beats socks every time 😍

Proud Peacock
This stained glass peacock knows it looks good! The body is blue iridescent glass that shifts with the light, while the tail fans out in rich green-blue granite glass that adds depth and drama. Proud as punch and ready to shine!

A couple of the utterly fabulous stained-glass windows at The Abbey Warwick, where we’re living our best monastery-core life for the night.

Tomorrow is the final day of the 2025 Jumpers and Jazz in July which means market day—a thrilling prospect for anyone who enjoys strolling, browsing, and pretending not to impulse buy. It’s my first time at this particular market, my longest commute for one, and the largest I’ve attended. Over 100 vendors!

I’ve brought plenty of lovely pieces, for you. The forecast says clear skies, so stop by if you’re in the mood to appreciate handmade things and question your budgeting skills!

Created to celebrate a remarkable friend’s 60th birthday, this piece honours a woman of intelligence, strength, and resilience—someone I’ve been lucky to call a friend for over 30 years. To mark this milestone, I wanted to encapsulate her treasured memories of the Camino de Santiago, a journey she’s completed not once, but multiple times.
The scallop shell, traditionally associated with the Camino de Santiago, serves as a guidepost for pilgrims along the nearly 800 km journey.
