I’m back in the studio next week after an amazing time in New Zealand.

It’s cool enough this afternoon to wear a jacket so I won’t be packing away my winter clothes just yet.

Thrilled to receive my artwork I chose from the Incognito Art Show. I have tagged the organisation so you can read more about the great work they do to support Australian artists.

Now I need to get it framed and find the perfect spot to hang it.

Thank you Peta Margaret Lloyd I absolutely love your work.

Thank you GLOBEWEST and Laminex AU for a fabulous night. It was so good to see the new collection and catch up with industry friends.

A day of sourcing for two of my furnishing projects. This is the part where the whole scheme starts to come together.

Corners of my studio.

I found this haberdasher’s cabinet at the antique centre — I’d been on the hunt for somewhere to store my fabric samples, and I love both the colour and how practical it is when I’m working on a new scheme.

Also some lovely finds: these yard sticks, once used by seamstresses for measuring. I collect anything with measurements on it — there’s something about the old type on these that I just love.

A year-long collaboration, brought to life one considered piece at a time.

This riverfront apartment has been a true partnership with my client — reupholstering her original lounge and dining furniture, adding a custom ottoman, new occasional pieces, and a plush wool rug. Today, we added the final layer: these gorgeous custom sheers.

It’s lovely to find little treasures tucked away that I can use for my design work.
