Just finished fussing around and reorganising my display in the main shop,

Looking for a ewe-nique gift? Here ewe'lll find some eco-printed silk scarves, love blue? Well I've got ewe covered. Indigo and procion dyed cotton voile scarves and indigo dyed totes for ewe to.

If you're after botanically dyed yarn and fibres for spinning and felting, look no further. They are now in my space behind the curtain.

I'll be back on Wednesday from 10am, ready to show ewe the refreshed space.

It's taking me a bit longer than I thought to reorganise the shop. I'll still be working quietly behind the scenes ready to reopen on Wednesday 2nd September.

The all Australian wall is nearly complete with Australian grown and processed fibres and yarns as well as botanically dyed yarns.

The NZ and international shelves are filling up as well.

All will be revealed 😉 soon.

Filling the shelves in the shop today, after a busy weekend.
The wall of Australian grown and botanically dyed yarn is looking fabulous.
The roving side is also looking pretty darn good to, if I do say so.
Rearranging the shelves and "homes " for the stock is exciting and refreshing. Everything looks new and inviting ✨️
The shop is getting reorganised and stock replenished. Looking forward to showing ewe.
I am back in store tomorrow,Thursday through to Saturday, 10am-4pm.

Closed on Sunday 30th August as I'll be holding a Boro Stitching workshop Urban Co-Lab from 1pm -3.30pm.

Now for something different.
Would you like to make your own Boro Stitched cushion cover? Well you can, this Sunday 30th August, I'll be at the Urban Co Lab, 149 Kitchener Road, Kedron, 4031, from 1pm - 3.30pm, to guide you through the process. All the hard work has been done, the fabric packs are colour co ordinated, the cushion cover sewn all you need is included in your kit.
I'll guide you through the process of hand stitching and creating your own one of a kind cushion cover.

Well, that's 2026 done and dusted. It was a fantastic experience and wonderful weekend to boot.

Thank ewe to everyone who popped in to say hi, and to those that are now inspired to learn to spin, the seasoned spinners, the yarn lovers who loved my yarns those who just came by to see and squish yarns, the felters who stocked up and those that came and said hi 👋 ewe have all made what I do worthwhile. "MareeKnows" is something that I always dreamed of doing and ewe all make it possible for me to do so.

Here's some before shots and after shots.
Yes, we emptied all the stock and shelving back into the shop tonight. I'll face the task of putting everything away on Wednesday.

Last but not least, a huge thank ewe to the organisers of Qld Yarn Fest, Rebecca, Stephney, Lois and Norton your vision to have a Qld version of Bendigo is something we Qlders have embraced 100%.

I look forward to doing it all again next year. Roll on 2027.

The shelves and walls are emptied and packed in readiness for the big day.

To say that I'm excited is an understatement.

I'll have Australian grown and processed fibres and yarns. Botanically dyed yarns, indigo dyed totes and so, so, so much more. Ewe want it? I most likely have it !
