Oh wow I just had the best day with Karla…

Karla hasn’t painted a piece of furniture ever let alone decoupage, raised stenciling and mould making.

Last week I (and everyone in the furniture art industry), were devastated by the news that the beautiful Heike Marro Heike's Furniture Art passed away.

If you caught my previous posts, I mentioned that I intended to dedicate my next piece to the memory of Heike’s magnificent talent.

She enjoyed decoupage, texture, colour, bold designs and cheeky messages that reflected her “Life is too Short” attitude that everyone appreciated.

I embraced my inner Heike and this happened.
I’m loving it…

I’ve applied MINT by michelle decoupage paper called “Skin” and a variety of Mint mineral paints.
