Spend a morning with me and my 3 and a half month old son as a first time mum 🩵 I’m currently on maternity leave, but starting to get things organised for my return to work in January 2027.

Also, the wrist brace with no context is for my poor wrists from rocking my chunky son to sleep so much 😂

A calming guest bedroom at our Upper Kedron project ☁️ The brief was to create a space that felt cosy, bright and welcoming, but also to evoke a sophisticated hotel vibe. I’d love to fall asleep in the room right now 😴

Life lately on maternity leave 🍼 Baby Angelo is now almost 3 and a half months old! I feel like the past month has gone super quick and I blinked and he’s grown up so much! As the cliche goes, they grow up so fast! (However, don’t try and tell me the first 8 weeks goes fast, that felt like a literal lifetime 😂 )

We are slowly developing more of a routine and baby boy is getting better at napping in his cot during the day giving me time to dip my toes back into a bit of behind the scenes work and content (30-45mins at a time iykyk)

I’m looking forward to being back seeing clients in a few months time whilst balancing being a mum and this new era of life 🤍

Baby items I’ve been loving as a first time mum who needs things to be practical but also aesthetic 🤍🍼

These are some of the main items I use everyday and absolutely love! There’s plenty more where these came from and as baby boy grows I’m sure things will change once more.

Anyone else watching the block this year? I try and catch the room reveals just to see what’s happening. I thought we were over the ‘all beige, Kim Kardashian house’ trend, but apparently not 😂 I do love neutrals, but hope that they start to add a bit more colour as the rooms go on. What are your thoughts? Pictured: our Upper Kedron project - neutral, but with subtle pops of colour 🤍

Highlights reel from the past six weeks 👶🏻🍼 if you follow along on my stories you’ll know that we welcomed our baby boy Angelo Edward on the 16th of June 🤍

It has been a roller coaster six weeks with so much learning, love, growing and crying 🤪 (on my part and baby A’s) We’ve created so many beautiful memories already and I’m loving seeing his little personality come out now!

Things may look a little different on here for the rest of the year until I get back into some new interior design work at the start of 2027. But I will share any projects that come to completion over the next few months and some behind the scenes of our little life on maternity leave as well 🩷

Before I went on maternity leave I had the lovely Kate Robinson | Brisbane Photographer come out and photograph the nursery.

I love the way she captured how cosy and timeless the nursery feels. It’s one of my favourite projects I’ve ever worked on. 🧸🍼
