Here I am 🙋🏼‍♀️ I’ve been slack at posting, but not slack at spinning. The colour inspo for this came from the most delicious rug, I can imagine would feel amazing squished underfoot and between your toes but was unfortunately $4000 above my price range.

About the yarn: merino and corriedale with some silk sari, noil, mohair locks and wrapped with super fine gold thread.

Of the traditional flavours, caramel doughnuts are easily my favourite. For some reason this yarn makes me want to eat all the caramel doughnuts. Which flavour do you rate as your number one?

Today’s unnecessary product review courtesy of another delightful 4.30am wake.

“Tried the cotton candy grapes for the first time this week and OHMY that first bite!

Thoughts while eating that first grape ‘THIS.IS.AMAZING, this is life changing, what is this sorcery?! were these expensive because these are the only grapes I’m eating from now on. I wonder if they’ve just injected cotton candy flavour to each grape, they’re so flipping sweet.

Thoughts after second grape ‘huh.. it just tastes like a normal grape now’.

Thoughts after third grape ‘yup just more normal grapes’.”

Here it is the definition of neutral.

About the yarn: white merino, mohair, bamboo blend, many scraps in varying shades of neutral all wrapped in cream cotton thread and coiled. Oh and a few tiny pops of dusty pink throughout.

After waking at 4.40am this morning my brain instantly starting crafting reviews for recent purchases as though it’d been asked to post them online. Why? No idea.

This is what came out..

I’ve been really ‘impressed’ with my kettle purchase. It’s sleek grey and wood design have made me the envy of others at the high tea zoom gatherings I’ve been hosting. Water pours easily from the spout when you lift and tilt it and I’ve really enjoyed the futuristic button technology which releases the lid instead of having to manually pull, like on my last obsolete model. Overall my favourite part is the built in game it comes with, I can only assume it’s called ‘will the boil turn off by itself this time?’ Pretty self explanatory but for those that haven’t had the pleasure of playing, basically every time I boil there’s a chance this time the kettle won’t turn off by itself and just boil forever. I haven’t reached level 2 yet but I’m excited to play ‘my kettle exploded because it’s faulty and burned my house down’.

About the yarn: this is a coiled yarn in a variety of purple shades. Includes silk, merino, sparkle and some locks. It also has some pops of yellow silk subtly throughout.

Congrats if you got through that novel.

New yarns will be listed in the shop in about 10 minutes. .
