On the 31st October, we lost Tish. One of our founding members, my sister, our friend.
I've tried to start a post many times to let you know, but the more I type, the more I realise that just like the void that's left behind with Tish's passing, there's just a whole lot of emptiness, and moving forward seems impossible now that Tish has gone.
Tish was an amazing people person, she was also very patient when it came to production schedules, and deadlines. She would get up at stupid o'clock and prep for events, even though she'd just had minimal sleep after production the night before.
And every time we needed her, as soon as The Candle Shack was ready to go, there was Tish, friendly smile upon her face, waiting to help customers.
Ironic that Tish was always about finding a way, finding the middle ground, and the feasible, so that we were able to keep going. And now that it's Tish that's gone, we need to draw on the things that were the most Tish, in order to move us forward...
