I bought steak to make Mongolian Beef, but I changed my mind at the last minute!

One of my favourite things about Thermomix®️ and Cookidoo®️ is being able to search an ingredient and instantly find recipe inspiration. I searched “steak” and found this recipe Chimichurri Steak Pita Sandwich.

I made the chimichurri dressing with a few chilli seeds and used dried herbs instead of fresh. I seasoned the steak strips and used Browning Mode to brown them off perfectly.

To make it even better, I made homemade pita bread in my Thermomix®️. It turned out so good and paired perfectly with the steak!

This is why I love Cookidoo®️ there’s always a delicious way to use the ingredients you already have at home. 💚

Last night, after dinner was done and the kids were winding down for bed time, I ticked a couple of things off my grocery list. ✔️

I made a loaf of bread for this morning’s sandwiches and a batch of vanilla yoghurt. 🤩

It’s a win win, I’ve saved money on groceries and have that satisfying feeling of making it myself with the help of my Thermomix®️.

Little things like this really add up over time, both for the budget and the confidence in the kitchen. 💚
