I started this back in February when in session with a client - we were exploring grief processing through clay - no idea why but this was my interpretation that I finally managed to finish this weekend. There is a heart inside the sphere that I’ve underglazed, then hoping to leave the rest raw clay if it survives bisque firing… which would be a little ironic if my grief piece doesn’t survive 🤣😜🤦🏼‍♀️ - Mel

Gifted this to my soul sista Leisa today… For some reason I made this always with the intention of giving this to her - clay does that occasionally, it speaks and lets me know who its intended for - sounds crazy I know but I’ve been around long enough to know when to trust my gut 🧡

Recently undertook my first wheel throwing course with Sally May Mills from Claylines (here are my vessels from this course) - I have been hand building up to this point but thoroughly enjoyed learning the basics of wheel throwing… and very happy to be renting a wheel over the Xmas break so I can continue to play and learn 🫶🏻
