Hi everyone.... it's been ages since I posted on this page.... time just flies by doesn't it but we've been busy (as usual) with renovating and diy'ing.

In our home we've moved away from the typical farmhouse look a bit and brought more colour into our home. Never thought it would happen but I love it. All that you see is still thrited, bought from op shops or FB marketplace. (do you spy the pool 👀 - will post photos of soon - best thing ever! )

Clean room feels …. And this crochet blanket is on the bed for the first time. Spent 35 years and 62 months finishing it …..🤪😅

We’re spending quite a bit of time in this room at the moment…… watching Yellowstone 😉 - we are only on Season 2 now but loving it. 🤠

This veranda has undergone many changes but the most recent layout is my favourite …. 🧡🤎🤍🖤. Its cosy, warm, inviting and has enough space for a whole bunch of us. It’s THE place to have a glass of wine and catch your breath after work. The dining table is perfect for dinner during the summer.

And best of all is most of the furniture is thrifted, bought off FB market place or found for free somewhere.

Can you spot the two ladders with twinkling fairy lights ✨💫🌟💫✨on them? We keep them twinkling 😉 all the time - it just adds to the festiveness and mood of the space.

And of course as you know I always add “before” photos😬😬. These were taken when we first saw the house but instead of seeing ugly blue walls we saw potential.…. 🥳🤩🥳

Did you know the quickest way to sort out n home and get things done (that you’ve been putting off for months) is to get visitors over.

And these were IMPORTANT 😎😎😎 visitors! My brother from Ireland (which we hadn’t seen in 12, yes 12!! years) and my sister and brother-in-law (which we hadn’t seen in 9 years😭) tickets were booked to spend the whole of December with us.

So can. you. imagine. the flurry this news created! 😂.

Billy and I worked our b*tts off 😉 to get this done in time and it was so worth it don’t you think?

Who doesn’t love a long bath and what better way to do it than with candles, a good series on Netflix and a cold glass of wine 🎉🎉🎉.

Billy made me this after I saw it on Pinterest - isn’t it great!?

(And I just added some photos of the re-done bathroom again just because I love it so much and its such a huge difference from before) 🤍🖤🤍🖤

Its been almost a year since we gave our pantry a HUGE makeover and I still go ”wow wee” every time I walk into it.

TIP - A good way to bring coziness into a space is to group the same kind of items together - the white tray was a find in an op shop and the brown wooden tray was a verge collection 🥳.

Last few photos are before….. (which I also loved but now we have so much more storage).

I’ve had this cupboard for years, sitting in the garage and at last I painted it over the weekend.

Also……..SOMEDAY😏 I’ll use up all my wool…. 🫣🙃😂……..

Current work in progress is a throw with different shades of yellows, blues, greens and white.
