August has always been a mystery. Last year it poured nonstop, and naturally sales took a slow hit. This year brought plenty of beautiful days, yet August still claimed the title of slowest month of the year. Maybe it’s the rising cost of living, maybe it’s just August being August.

But even in a tough month, your favourites shone through. My books and handmade creations carried me, and I’m endlessly grateful for the support that keeps my little shop afloat. I’m still navigating challenging waters, but every visit, every purchase, every kind word truly makes a difference.
