It’s not just Meat Loaf on the menu
 🎾

Sensational 70’s are opening our Back Outta Helloween night with a set of classic 70’s rock, before Back Outta Hell take over with the Meat Loaf songs we all grew up turning up loud.

And Rocky Horror fans—Johnny’s confirmed Time Warp and Hot Patootie are in the mix too. 👀

We’re getting into the Halloween spirit a week early at Norton on Saturday 24 October.

Who’s coming? And are you there for the Meat Loaf singalongs, the 70’s rock or a little jump to the left?

Who remembers turning up the radio for Southern Sons? đŸŽ¶

That voice is coming to NMF.

Jack Jones—the voice behind ‘Hold Me in Your Arms’, ‘Heart in Danger’ and ‘You Were There’ joins us on Friday 30 October for Hits & Stories – An Intimate Concert Series.

A chance to hear him up close, with the songs and the stories behind them.

Have you seen Jack live before? Which song takes you straight back?

“Bright, bold, and fu***ng beautiful!”

Former Big Day Out CEO Adam Zammit talking about Skunkhour. Pretty good description, hey?

They’ve just packed out Sydney’s Manning Bar, and next Friday 16 October we get them here at Norton’s for their Back to Basics tour.

Funk, rock, rap and a whole lot of groove. Who remembers seeing these guys back in the day? Where did you catch them?

We’re pretty pleased to have them coming to our room, as this is a truly unique live show we get to host in our community.đŸ€˜

Nearly 50 years later, how many of you still have this one in the collection? đŸ”„đŸïž

We’re bringing the music of Meat Loaf to Norton Music Factory this Halloween for ‘Bat Outta Helloween’.

Did you ever see Meat Loaf live? Which song absolutely has to make the setlist: Bat Out of Hell, Paradise by the Dashboard Light, Two Out of Three Ain’t Bad
or something else?

The band are building more than a straight tribute show, with some Sensational ’70s and a couple of Rocky Horror favourites in the mix too.

This will be a seriously fun night. I wonder if we should we make it a proper Halloween party with a costumes? Would you guys get dressed up? 👀

2% jazz. 98% funk
 so who’s ready to get T H U M P Y? đŸ•ș

Next weekend, Sunshine Coast groove machine T H U M P joins us for Yama Funkfest 2.0, with powerhouse vocalist Alyson Joyce guesting on their stage.

Think vintage funk and soul with a modern pulse—slap bass, heavy grooves and serious musicianship, inspired by everyone from James Brown and Parliament-Funkadelic to Vulfpeck and Lettuce.

If you haven’t met T H U M P yet, next weekend is your chance to get under the groove with some of Queensland’s finest funk musicians. So come down Factory family, get your dancing shoes on, tell a mate. We can’t wait!

YES, we’ve been talking about this show a lot!

That’s because we’re genuinely proud of the young live-music scene growing around our venue. And we know that great local scenes only grow when people show up, discover the bands and get behind them.

Tomorrow night brings four very incredible young bands into the same room:

⚡ WoodHill — a young Cronulla trio taking their grunge-soaked alternative rock around Australia.
🎾 ChAMBER LANe — indie-punk anthem makers turning heartbreak and overthinking into sweaty singalongs.
🎾 Karma Police — teenagers who are fresh with a new EP and recent radio play on triple j and 4ZZZ.
đŸ”„ Boys at the Back — school mates making garage punk colliding with hip-hop, with a new track dropping show day.

It’s exactly the kind of emerging Australian lineup we want our room to be known for—and we want more people to know these bands while they’re coming through. Actually if you look at the ticket page, we even have links for each band. So if you buy through their ticket - they are going to get a bit of a kickback. Support your scene! That’s why we’re all here.

Come early. You might find a new favourite.
