We are deeply saddened to announce the sudden death of Geoffrey at his home in Campbell Town, Tasmania.
A great friend and a brilliant architectural designer. He challenged us, frustrated us, and ultimately made us better for refusing anything less than excellence.
Forever loved, Anthony, Lyn, John and the Waller family.

This House at Lake Cathie - Port Stephens in northern NSW was built by my client, a builder : he and his wife loved it. It was over the rd to a fabulous beach, They wanted the "Hamptons " style.

The master bedroom was built above the garage with a bay window so one could see the sea down the drive and read "Riddle of the Sands" while sitting in the bay window.

The Hamptons look as one can see is very dependant on proportion and knowledge of all the architectural elements characteristic of seaside houses built in the USA some 200 years ago. Rythm and proportion is so important and is often not correct in many houses built.
