A great night in Brisbane, supporting a great cause.

The DJAS Architecture Brisbane team was delighted to join so many property industry colleagues at the Property Industry Foundation Trivia Night, raising funds to support young people experiencing homelessness across Queensland.

A fun evening of connection, generosity and industry spirit.

When the DJAS Architecture team gets together, things can get quite creative ..

With our people working across three states, we recently brought the team together to Canberra for a few days, including a pottery workshop led by our very own fine arts graduate, ceramist and interior designer Elena Alvarado Benavides.

There was clay, colour, and plenty of creativity around the table. It was also a great way to step away from the screens, try our hands at something different, and enjoy being together in the same place.

Thanks Elena for sharing your talents with us, and for keeping us - it turns out there's plenty of creativity at DJAS beyond the drawing board!

DJAS Architecture recently completed the design of the Yarrangobilly Caves Visitor Centre and Staff Accommodation Facility at Kosciusko National Park. The design focused on capturing the specialness of the place and drawing on the unique characteristics of the surrounding natural environment. Our team look forward to working with the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service and our design team as the project progresses into the construction phase.

BIG news from DJAS Architecture.

We're delighted to announce the promotion of Courtney Walmsley to Associate at DJAS.

Courtney has become an important part of the DJAS team, bringing strong design and technical capability, sound judgement and a thoughtful, collaborative approach to her work.

Her promotion to Associate recognises not only the quality of her project work, but the leadership she provides within the practice supporting colleagues, building trusted relationships with clients and project partners, and taking ownership of the work she leads.

Courtney's promotion reflects the trust she's earned and the contribution she makes to DJAS.

This past week marked another significant milestone in the Australian War Memorial's Development Project with the opening of the new ANZAC Hall and Atrium.

Under the theme "Our Continuing Story", the new galleries expand the way Australia's military history is told. For the first time in the Memorial's history, dedicated exhibition spaces recognise Australia's efforts to prevent war and contribute to peace.

DJAS Architecture is proud to have contributed to this nationally significant project as Executive Architect, helping bring this important next chapter in the Memorial's evolution to life.

Not every project makes the front cover of an architecture magazine.

Sometimes it's a new toilet block at a regional school.

But ask any student or teacher whether these facilities matter and you'll get a very clear answer.

DJAS Architecture had the pleasure of delivering the new amenities block at Rathdowney State School, working with the Queensland Department of Education and Capworks Management.

Led by our Principal Kate Bell, the project delivers modern, durable and accessible facilities designed to serve the school community for many years to come.

Good design isn't about landmark buildings. It's about making everyday places work better for the people who use them.

DJAS recently had the pleasure of attending site at Dorrigo National Park to see that the construction of the Glade Education Centre is tracking along well as it nears completion. The design is being brought to life by the construction team, with the building sitting beautifully against the backdrop of the rainforest, just as we envisaged.

Thanks to the Property Industry Foundation for a great day on the Bay at the 2026 Brisbane Charity Regatta.

Last month DJAS Architecture Director Alisa Moss and Principal kate bell joined more than 350 industry colleagues on Moreton Bay for a day of sailing, connection, and a little friendly competition, all in support of young Australians experiencing homelessness.

This year's event raised more than $180,000 for the Haven Project, helping provide safe and stable housing for vulnerable young people. It's always fantastic to see industry get together to support causes that result in such meaningful impact in our communities.

Congratulations to everyone involved, and thanks again to PIF for hosting such a great event.
