LUMIFI brings the king of budget speakers to Canberra. Available for audition is the Triangle Borea BR10, the biggest speaker in the bro range. The treble is extended without being bright. The mids are warm and sweet. Oh that bass!! Coming out of these 2 X 8 inch drivers is fast, punchy and deep.
Should work well with low power amps as the sensitivity is 92 dB. Beautiful to look at with grill on or removed. When was the last time you heard a speaker that sounded and looked this good!!

A DALI gateway can be used to control 64 Dali ballasts ( drivers). In some cases, one or two DALI gateway may be all you need to bring all your lighting loads into automation. DALI drivers and downlights used to be super expensive eating up all the savings made on dimmers and relays but not anymore. DALI brings super smooth digital dimming and also enables you to take advantage of circadian lighting. The grouping of lights is done in software and can be changed without doing any wiring changes. You don't have to run tens of cables back to a panel for centralised lighting control. All you need to run your DIN rail is a DALI BUS(comms) cable. Super cheap, super tidy , super flexible lighting control system . If someone bags DALI out, chances are, they are trying to sell you super expensive dimmers and relays. DALI is hard to implement in retro fitouts. For new builds, I don't know why you would choose anything other than DALI. Bring your lighting control into 21st century with DALI.

Q. Your speakers' recommended amp power is 50-200W. Do you think a 500W-1000W amplifier will damage the speaker or make it perform its best ?
A. A speaker is highly unlikely to be damaged by a high power amplifier. In fact it's recommended to use a high power amplifier as it will have extra headroom (reserve power), which will reduce/minimise distortion when a speaker is called upon (by the audio track) to push higher.
So next time you are choosing an amplifier power for your speaker, feel confident to go to the upper limit or even higher than the recommended power rating of the speaker. Don't worry , there is no chance of damaging the speaker. Speaker can be damaged by very low power amplifiers if you are playing distorted signals through it, which usually is defined as playing at very high volumes where it's not hard to tell the music is distorted. The damage in this case can happen quicker with a lower power amp than a higher power amp, as the higher power amp will distort at a much higher volume compared to the lower power amp.
