🌟 New Date Added: Ladderback Jacquard Session 2

Due to overwhelming demand, Aleks Byrd’s Ladderback
Jacquard workshop sold out within minutes. With many
requests on the waitlist, we are pleased to announce an
additional session.

Bookings open now. We recommend booking early as places are limited.

✨ Workshop Details:
Ladderback Jacquard Session 2
Date: Saturday 1st August 2026
Time: 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Create beautiful stranded colourwork, not just from the right side but also the wrong side, with this game changing float management skill. Ladderback jacquard will help you manage floats by keeping them short to avoid any snagging, while also opening up the possibility of knitting patterns which require longer gaps between colours. In the workshop you will explore two ways of using ladderback jacquard; the first by adding a ladderback stitch while knitting the stranded colourwork and the second by creating the ladderback stitch after you’ve finished knitting colourwork.

😍 De Rerum Natura’s Albertine and Bérénice come together to make a fabric that feels light, warm, and softly glowing. It is a joy to knit and even better to wear when the weather turns chilly. Same shade or mixed shades, the result is always lovely.

😍 Alice by De Rerum Natura, a luxurious blend of 75% organic Mérinos d’Arles and 25% linen, sourced from France and Belgium, crafted for exceptional fineness and softness. The elasticity of the merino complements the luminous touch of the linen, creating a yarn that’s both strong and supple.

🧶 The yarn is dyed using ecological dyes that comply with GOTS specifications to reduce its environmental impact.

Whether knitted tightly for durable socks or loosely for flowing garments, Alice provides warmth and comfort. Ideal for any season, this yarn adds personality to stockinette stitch and enhances elaborate motifs with its fluidity and drape.

😍 Antigone from De Rerum Natura

Composed of ten strands of well-twisted combed linen, has a smooth, silky and deliciously fresh feel.

This yarn can be knitted with fine needles for a regular result or in a loose fit to take advantage of its natural drape, which allows it to be adapted to a large number of patterns. It will be perfect for knitting mid-season jumpers and little tops for the warm weather, a lace cardigan to go with a pretty dress or even crocheting a shopping bag!

100% ecological linen, grown in Normandie (France) without chemical inputs by the Terre de lin cooperative as part of a project to return to ancient cultivation practices aimed at preserving the soil and producing high quality fibres without chemical inputs.

Antigone has been named after “the one who says no” to the plays of Jean Anouilh.

✨ Colours Featured: Abysse, Dahlia, Jardin, Lin, Libellule

🤩 Isager Mulberry Silk is a delicate, lace-weight, 2-ply, 100% silk yarn.

Any yarn is automatically elevated when knitted together with Mulberry Silk. The silk adds softness and elegance to any project when knitted together with other yarns in the Isager range.

Mulberry Silk works especially well when held together with Isager Spinni or Tvinni (100% wool) or Isager Palet (100% cotton), as it adds a beautiful sheen and a cool touch, which complements these more matte yarns. When paired with wool yarns, it provides extra softness without the fuzziness, like with Isager Silk Mohair. It is especially well-suited for lighter garments, scarves and baby clothes.

🧶 The yarn comes in 14 shades, with a softness beyond imagination, and the colours are elegant and subtle.

🤩 This vest pairs beautifully with dark bottoms and a soft, light collared formal shirt, creating a look that feels both classic and fresh. The vest can be folded to create a new look as we have here. Each outfit highlights a new colour moment, showing just how adaptable this vest can
be.

We would love to see your version using Isager Tvinni and Isager Highland. Share your chosen colours and your progress or stop by Sunspun to check out the sample, and start planning your own version.

✨ There is subtle magic in pairing the Monday Sweater with a flowing white skirt.

The look feels relaxed, warm and softly elegant. It is perfect for days when you want comfort without losing charm. The sweater adds a handmade feel that blends so nicely with the clean white tones, making the whole outfit feel fresh and easy.

Would you team up your sweater with a skirt?

🤩 This denim-casual look feels soft and comfortable, with an angled cut in front and back adding character. Crafted from eight balls and skeins of yarn, each stage of knitting the garment was engaging.

Seen from afar, it looks like solid-colour fields; up close, these dissolve into horizontal lines of two colours, formed by bumps from changing colour each row in garter stitch. This gives the fabric an unusual, almost woven look that shifts with distance, keeping the garment interesting beyond first glance.
