LA STRADA RESIDENCES

In Potts Point, Sydney, Fiona Lynch Office conceived the arrival experience as a continuation of the residences themselves, for the exclusive La Strada development.

Layered stone surfaces envelop the corridor and private entry sequence, creating a tactile walk home. Direct lift access into each apartment reinforces a sense of privacy, calm and retreat within the dense urban fabric of Sydney.

TARRAWARRA MUSEUM OF ART

Fiona Lynch Office was commisioned by to design a custom metal display system for the gallery shop.

It’s softly undulating form takes cues from the rolling hills surrouding the museum in the Yarra Valley, translating the landscape into a fluid architectural gesture.

Curved rather than linear, the piece brings a sense of movement to the space. Designed to quietly recede, it allows the objects on display to remain the focus while enriching the experience of encountering them.

623 COLLINS

We conceived the lobby of 623 Collins Street as a gateway between city and home.

Set beneath soaring volumes and framed by the classical inspired façade, the interior balances clarity with richness. Tonal stone in muted blue-green hues is paired with a patchwork of limestone and travertine underfoot, grounding the space in texture and permanence.

A mirrored column reflects the movement of light throughout the day, while a constellation-like pendant by Bocci draws the eye upward, bringing subtle drama to the arrival experience.

POWERHOUSE PARRAMATTA

We are honoured to share our involvement in Powerhouse Parramatta, one of Australia’s most significant cultural projects.

Over the past three years, Fiona Lynch Office has been engaged to design the Lang Walker Family Academy, a five-level immersive STEM facility that will welcome up to 10,000 students annually. To contribute to a project of this scale and ambition has been a privilege.

On the 2nd of June, Fiona joined more than 50 Australian designers, artists and makers whose contributions have helped shape this once-in-a-generation project, opening later this year.

We are proud to be working alongside an extraordinary group of Australian creative practitioners and extend our sincere thanks to Lisa Havilah () and the entire Powerhouse team for their vision, trust and leadership throughout the process.

More to be revealed soon.

MARINA MIRAGE

A palette of limestone, travertine, textured stone and warm oak draws directly from the Gold Coast landscape.

Softly curved forms and sculptural joinery create an atmosphere of calm, offering a quiet expression of luxury grounded in materiality and place.

MARINA MIRAGE

We are proud to unveil the interiors for the Marina Mirage Sales Gallery, conceived by Fiona Lynch Office for Makris Group and now featured in

Designed as an immersive introduction to the development, the gallery offers prospective purchasers a first encounter with the material and spatial language of Marina Mirage. Located within the Makris Group headquarters, the environment translates the vision for this landmark Gold Coast address into a fully resolved interior experience.

Drawing on the mineral richness of the surrounding landscape, the palette references sandbanks, mangroves and oyster shells through limestone, travertine, textured stone and warm oak. Gentle curves, sculptural joinery and a subdued oceanic tonality create an atmosphere of calm and quiet luxury.

We curated bespoke objects and furniture to complete the space, reflecting an approach that is distinctly Australian in sensibility while informed by an international perspective.

Backed by Makris Group’s $500 million investment, Marina Mirage will comprise just 38 penthouses, villas and branded residences, alongside a 126-key Luxury Collection Hotel by Marriott International, setting a new benchmark for waterfront living on the Gold Coast.

WORK SHOP: ON PERMANENCE IN CONTEMPORARY PRACTICE

Presented as part of NGV’s Melbourne Design Week 2026, Fiona Lynch Office opens its gallery at 75 Langridge Street, Collingwood, for an exhibition with Fomu Studio and Waverley Mills.

Bringing together two Tasmanian-based practices, the exhibition reflects on craftsmanship, process and what endures within contemporary practice.

Fomu Studio presents new works alongside selected pieces from earlier collections. In the adjoining space, Fiona Lynch’s Desert Field collection for Waverley Mills traces wool from raw fibre to finished form.

Floral arrangements by draw on the textures and tones of the Tasmanian landscape, completing the installation.

We look forward to welcoming you into the studio.
